I am a midwifery student working to complete my bachelors degree in Midwifery through the Midwives College of Utah. I am in my final year of study and able to accept new patients along with my preceptor Elaine.
I recently moved from Utah to Montana with my husband and six children. I am offering a new service to central Montana, "footzonology". I am a licensed Footzonologist trained at the Nordblom International Institute of Rejuvination. There, I studied extensively the healing use of herbs, essential oils, diet and nutrition. I have also taught footzonology for eight years. I love to help women through the empowering experience of birth.
The Family Birth Center is excited to announce the addition of Donna Sanders to the birth center team. Donna is a graduate of Brady High School and currently lives in Brady, Montana with her husband and two beautiful daughters. After the birth of her second child, Donna became very interested in wanting to help women, babies, and families by offering support and education as they ease into motherhood. This led Donna to attend the Aviva Institute of Midwifery in Minnesota where she was certified as a lactation educator and a childbirth educator.
She will offer classes for expectant moms at the birth center on the second Saturday of every month. The classes will include information on breastfeeding, labor and delivery, and postpartum life. Upon joining the team at the birth center Donna said, "I am very excited to be a part of the Family Birth Center! I know that there are a lot of choices when it comes to the birth of your baby and my mission is to make those choices easier to make through information, care, and support. I look forward to seeing expectant moms in the classes I am offering and meeting them at the center!"
